Insufficient Rain , Many villages Still Dependent On Tankers Supply In Aurangabad District.


Aurangabad: Aurangabad City’s neighbouring village’s are facing severe drought, villagers are forced to purchase water at price of ruppes 60 to 80 per Barrel.

Khashabkheda which is 33 kilometres from city, A villager Mr Nana Gawali said borewell have dried , wells are empty and we are purchasing water for drinking and external use of households .He said average 60 to 80 ruppes are spend daily on water. The condition of village jamala which is 23 kilometres from city is also worsen , here villagers said they have kept the water barrels on road and we are dependent on water tankers ,even arrival of monsoon after 42 days we received very limited rain in our area .
